Wolfsblut VetLine Hypoallergenic is a complete dietetic feed for adult dogs to reduce the symptoms of raw material and nutrient intolerance associated with chronic itching, otitis externa and gastrointestinal diseases such as IBD (inflammatory bowel disease) or colitis.

Is your dog suffering from annoying itching all over his body or especially in his ears? He licks and nibbles on his paws? Or does he suffer from digestive problems and diarrhea? The reason could be a food allergy or food intolerance. An allergy causes the immune system to overreact to certain proteins. In the case of an intolerance, however, the immune system is left out. Because the symptoms are very similar in both cases, a visit to the vet is essential. After the diagnosis, an elimination diet can be a helpful tool to determine the specific triggers for your dog's abnormal physical reactions and to avoid them in the long term.

1. By using a single, high-quality protein source: Horse meat is considered hypoallergenic and has a very low allergy potential. This reduces the risk of intolerance to the raw material and nutrients. In other words: the shorter the list of ingredients, the smaller the risk of an undesirable reaction.

2. Reducing carbohydrate sources to sweet potatoes and pumpkin also reduces the allergy potential.

3. The food is ideal as an elimination diet: In this diet, the food components are reduced as much as possible, so you can first observe for a few weeks whether your dog's symptoms are improving. If so, you can gradually increase the food components and find out which components exactly your dog reacts to.

4. By avoiding grains, even dogs with nutritional sensitivities can receive a species-appropriate diet.
