Singulares Organic Coconut Oil is a purely natural product and is obtained through gentle cold pressing. It is characterized by a wonderfully fresh and mild coconut scent and taste. It also has a high proportion of valuable MCT fatty acids (medium-chain fatty acids), such as lauric acid, caprylic acid and capric acid. Singulares Organic Coconut Oil is solid up to about 26°C and melts at higher temperatures. It is best stored at room temperature, protected from light.

Expert tip: Many pet owners also use coconut oil to ward off ticks. To do this, a pea- to hazelnut-sized amount of coconut oil (depending on the size of the animal) is rubbed in the hands and then rubbed over the animal's fur. A study by the FU Berlin (Hilker, Kahl, Dautel) showed a deterrent effect on ticks. This is due to the high proportion of lauric acid in coconut oil.
