Carbonate hardness and pH value are important water parameters. With sera KH/pH-plus, carbonate hardness and pH value can be safely regulated and kept constant over a long period of time. In a community aquarium, 5 - 10 degrees dKH are optimal, Malawi and Tanganyika cichlids need 10 - 15 degrees dKH, and in seawater, 8 - 12 degrees dKH is optimal.
