The low carbohydrate content with rapid glucose release and the increased fiber content should have a positive effect on fluctuations in blood sugar levels. Energy-rich carbohydrates have been replaced by high-quality proteins and the food has been enriched with L-carnitine. This should change the metabolism and thus contribute to weight loss. The high protein content should promote muscle maintenance and at the same time reduce calorie intake. L-carnitine can support the breakdown of fat reserves. Not suitable for growing or pregnant cats.
