Canina coconut oil is a pure natural product from organic farming. The virgin coconut oil is obtained by cold pressing. Since it is a pure natural product, it is not refined, bleached, hardened or deodorized.
Canina coconut oil contains plenty of medium-chain fatty acids, such as lauric acid, caprylic acid and capric acid, which are converted directly into energy and are not stored as fat deposits, so that the coconut oil has a positive effect on the metabolism. It is also recommended as a support for worm prophylaxis and in the case of worm infestation.
Many pet owners also use coconut oil externally. The lauric acid in coconut oil is said to be able to keep unwanted pests away from the animal. Feeding recommendation per animal per day:
Canina coconut oil can be added to regular food in solid or liquid form. It changes from solid to liquid at temperatures above 20 degrees Celsius and melts.
Dog: 1g per 5kg body weight, maximum 12g
Cat: 1g

For external use:
To achieve a smooth consistency, Canina coconut oil is rubbed in the hand and then massaged into the skin and coat. Depending on the size of the animal, a pea-sized (cat) to plum-sized amount of Canina coconut oil (large dog) is applied several times a week. The animal's coat should be well moistened.
