To support heart function

L-carnitine is particularly useful for stabilizing and maintaining heart function, increasing vitality and thus the dog's ability to cope with stress and performance. Older dogs in particular often suffer from heart failure. Hawthorn: - Increases cardiac performance - Increases the heart muscle's tolerance to oxygen deficiency. Studies with performance dogs have shown that the addition of L-carnitine leads to a significant improvement in performance parameters, particularly in newborns whose body synthesis is still limited, but also in animals that are subject to increased demands. The L-carnitine content in the heart muscle of dogs with heart problems was already examined in 1988. Of 20 animals, 7 had a reduced L-carnitine content in the heart muscle tissue. These dogs were successfully treated with an oral L-carnitine supplement. After the supplement was stopped, the heart muscle problems reappeared. Effects of a sufficient supply of L-carnitine: - it promotes the healthy development of puppies - it reduces the deposition (accumulation) of fats in the tissues - it supplies fatty acids for energy use - it ensures a sustainable energy supply for the animals - it increases the condition of performance dogs - it reduces muscle breakdown, protects the muscle membranes during muscle performance - it shortens the recovery phase of the animals after sporting performance - it prevents heart muscle problems. Note: Feed analyses of various commercial complete dog foods showed strikingly low L-carnitine contents compared to pure meat feeding. The carnitine content of these ready-made foods was more than 10 times lower than pure meat. In fact, L-carnitine is less well absorbed by the dog's kidneys than in non-carnivorous animals. A higher excretion of vital L-carnitine in domestic animals can therefore lead to a dangerous deficiency compared to wild animals. For this reason, HERZ-VITAL from Canina is strongly recommended, no matter what you feed your dog. It is recommended that you seek advice from your veterinarian before feeding or extending the feeding period., Contents: 100ml, Composition: Dextrose, special vitamin yeast, plant extracts, Ingredients: Crude protein 4.0%, Crude fat 0.5%, Crude fiber 0.0%, Crude ash 1.0%, Potassium 0.2%, Water 53.0%, Additives per liter: L-carnitine 30,000mg, Feeding recommendation per animal and day: Small dogs: give 1 teaspoon with the food, Medium-sized dogs: give 2 teaspoons with the food, Large dogs: give 3 teaspoons with the food, Recommended feeding period: Initially up to 6 months.
